About

For a more extreme camping experience, hike partway up Mount Carleton Trail. There are 4 sites with only pit toilets and tree food storage as on-site amenities.

4 hike-in tenting sites, reserved through the provincial reservation service.

Directions: Route 17, to Saint-Quentin, exit onto Route 180, to Route 385, OR Route 109, west on Route 108, to Route 385.

Fees

Backcountry $18.51 CAD per night in high season; lower rates from May 19 to June 18 and from September 8 until end of 2026 season, plus HST and a $10 reservation fee
