Experience the dramatic tides at various lookouts, waterfalls, and beaches, witnessing the 32-foot tidal shifts every 12 hours. The Fundy Escarpment, a 2 km wide corridor stretching from Frownes Beach in St. Martins to Fundy National Park, encompasses nutrient-rich salt marshes and tidal flats, making it a crucial ecosystem. Conveniently accessible from St. Martins, Sussex, and Alma, the Fundy Trail Provincial Park invites you to pitch your tent and immerse yourself in one of the last coastal wilderness areas between Florida and Labrador. Directions: The Fundy Trail is accessible via Route 111 from Saint John or Sussex, located 10 km east of the Village of St. Martins. From Calais, ME, St. Stephen, and Saint John, NB: follow Trans-Canada Highway #1 East to exit 137A. Follow Route 111 east to St. Martins. The entrance gate is located approximately 10 km east of the Village of St. Martins. From Nova Scotia, Moncton and Sussex: Follow Trans-Canada Highway #1 West to exit 198. Follow Route 111 west to St. Martins. The entrance gate is located approximately 10 km east of the Village of St. Martins.
