About
A Mississippi state park (MDWFP) on Shadow Lake near Morton. Developed Camping: 110 RV sites on paved roads/pads with picnic tables and grills, 50/30/20-amp electric, sewer, and water at every site; many have lake views/waterfront access. A central sewage dumping station and a bathhouse with hot showers (washers/dryers at each campground's bathhouse) serve the campground. Primitive tent camping is also available in a wooded area on the upper west end of Shadow Lake (first-come-first-served, water available, hot-shower bathhouse across the dam); MDWFP does not publish a site count for this area. Group Camp: 8 dormitory-style huts housing up to 128, one of MDWFP's 7 statewide group-camp parks. Coordinate is MDWFP's own published street address, geocoded directly.
