About
The campground is considered primitive, designed to furnish only the camper's basic needs. The campsites consist of a cleared area, fire ring, and table. Also, vault toilets, garbage cans, and drinking water are available. Two designated accessible parking spaces are located in the campground. The parking space is 14 feet wide.
If you're looking to combine a great camping experience with horseback riding or snowmobiling, Ann Lake Campground will be perfect for your getaway. The campground has 36 individual campsites and four group camps with a sandy swimming beach. The campground is adjacent to Ann Lake and the Ann Lake Day Use Area, which has picnic areas, a sandy swimming beach, panfish fishing, and more than three miles of hiking trails during the summer, which transition to an ungroomed cross-country ski trail during the winter.
30 primitive campsites (28 drive-in), 2 of them accessible. 4 group campsites, reserved up to 120 days ahead. First come, first served for individual sites; pay the camping fee online on the day you arrive, or at a state park ranger station. Managed from Lake Maria State Park (763-272-4040).
