About
Nestled within the pristine Huron River watershed, this secluded, rustic campground offers 21 tent and small trailer sites. Renowned for its trout and steelhead fishing, it's a haven for anglers and outdoor enthusiasts alike, providing easy access to hiking, hunting, and ORV trails.
The campground is located 6.7 miles east of Skanee via Skanee and Erick roads.
21 rustic campsites, $20 a night. The season depends on the weather; contact the manager before a shoulder-season trip. First come, first served; register at the campground kiosk on the day you arrive. Vault toilets and a hand-pump well for drinking water; no electricity or hookups. One camping unit and six people per site, 15 nights at most. Managed from Baraga State Park (906-353-6558).
