About

The hills of the Turtle Mountains are dotted with over 200 lakes, and the area is host to a wealth of wildlife. Try your luck at catching some trout or perch while at William Lake, or spend the day on the beach or at the day use area. Another highlight is the 7.5 kilometres of hiking trails, especially the Turtles Back hiking trail, which features a lookout tower. The campsites in the campground offer basic camping opportunities.

In the campground: biking, dump station (near campground office), horseshoe, kiosk (campground office), modern washrooms, pay showers, picnic areas, pit privies, and water taps.

Elsewhere in the park: boat launch (at beach), boating, canoeing, fishing (license required), hiking (look-out to Turtle's Back summit), picnic shelter (near beach), playground, swimming (unsupervised beach), and volleyball (near beach).

Directions: Located 85 kilometres south of Brandon on P.T.H. 10, 6.4 kilometres east on P.R. 341. Travel 8 kilometres south or 6.4 kilometres east from the junction of P.T.H. 10 and P.T.H. 3 highways and 14 kilometres south on Municipal Road.
