Kentucky Horse Park is a Kentucky State Park campground offering 257 sites, all with 50/30/20-amp electricity and water, on paved 55-foot back-in pads near Lexington. Two dump stations, hot showers, laundry, a campground store, a pool for campers and a dog park; no sewer hookups at the sites. First-come primitive and electric-primitive areas open on busy weekends and are not on the reservation system. Open year round.
Fees
$40 per night Sunday to Thursday and $45 Friday and Saturday in the peak season, $50 on holiday and special-event weekends; $35 per night off peak; pull-through sites $3 more; a one-time $6 transaction fee and taxes. First-come primitive electric sites $31 and primitive non-electric sites $24 per night. Pets welcome on a leash.
