Indiana Dunes State Park, on the Lake Michigan shoreline near Chesterton, offers 141 real campsites: 134 Electric, 4 Tent Only, and 3 Youth Tent. DNR's own page confirms water and sewer hookups are NOT available on individual sites. Seasonal lifeguards staff the swimming beach.

Pets are allowed at Indiana State Parks campgrounds under a statewide policy (in.gov/dnr/state-parks/property-rules-and-regulations): "Dogs and cats must be attended at all times and kept on a leash no longer than six feet."
