About

Primitive (Class C) campsites spread across the landscape below the knobs near the forest office - some on the Knob Lake waterfront, others among hardwoods and eastern white pines; sites 1 and 48 are wheelchair accessible. The DNR states no site count. Vault toilets.

First come, first served. Firewood is sold at the forest office in business hours from Memorial Day weekend to late October. A youth tent campground for scouts and other groups is near the office at the Trail 3 trailhead.
