About
Stone Mountain Park is owned by the State of Georgia and managed by the Stone Mountain Memorial Association, a state authority; its campground is run by the Association's management partner and books on Campspot rather than the state park reservation system. The campground has 250 RV sites with full or partial hookups (water, electric and sewer on the purple, red and orange loops; water and electric on the blue loop), 125 water-and-electric sites for tents and pop-ups, and 46 primitive tent sites, lakeside and wooded, with a grill, picnic table and fire ring at every site. Comfort stations with restrooms and showers, laundry, a dump station, a seasonal pool for campground guests, a general store and cable TV on some loops. A one-time $20 parking fee is charged on top of the campsite; reservations carry a two-night minimum, and stays are limited to 28 nights for RVs and 7 for tents. Yurts and rental RVs are also offered.
Fees
Nightly rates are shown when you pick dates on Campspot; a one-time $20 parking fee is required on arrival; two-night minimum stay (longer on holiday weekends).
