US Forest Service campground. Iron Springs Campground has eight campsites for tents and small trailers. This campground is located on the Uncompahgre Plateau, with popular activities such as off-highway vehicle trail riding, mountain biking and big game hunting. Pack out what you pack in. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
