US Forest Service campground. Ponderosa is a developed/dispersed camp area located in a popular OHV area, with access to nearby trail systems. There's room for 5 or 6 camps in non-designated spots that can accommodate approximately 9 vehicles. There is one vault toilet, a bulletin board, and self paying iron ranger. This campground is first come/first served. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
