US Forest Service campground. Elevation: 8300-Foot Elevation Amenities: 6Campsites- Picnic tables and campfire rings, vault toilets. No water available. Please bring enough water for cooking, cleaning, drinking, and extinguishing campfires. Hiking: Access to the Pacific Crest Trail . Fees: Camping - Adventure Pass/America the Beautiful Pass Required. Day use -Adventure Pass/America the Beautiful Pass Required. Blue Ridge Road closes mid-November for winter/spring seasons, reopens mid May. During that time, the campground is hike-in only. Pack out what you pack in. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
