US Forest Service campground. Big Rock Campground is an open-year round site that is accessed from Forest Service Road 4N11. 4N11 is closed seasonally from beginning of May to mid-November. During winter months, when Forest Service Road 4N11 is closed, you must hike in 1/8th mile from gate. Amenities: 8 campsites with one designated picnic table and campfire ring. Vault toilets. Trash receptacles. No piped water available.(Please bring enough water for cooking, cleaning, drinking, and extinguishing campfires.). Pack out what you pack in. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
