About

US Forest Service campground. This 28 unit campground provides an excellent "close-to-the-trailhead" location to camp as a jumping off point for adventures in the McGee Canyon area or as a pleasant sunny location for family camping. Each campsite has a shade pavilion as there are few trees here. The campground is 2 miles from the trailhead and 4 miles from Crowley Lake. Pack out what you pack in. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
