About

US Forest Service campground. South Slope Loop includes 27 individual campsites, all of which are electric. Each has a fire ring, picnic table, parking spur, and lantern hanger. This loop contains centralized water, flush toilets, hot showers from early April through late October. From late October through end of November, potable water is available at frost free hydrants (no flush toilets or showers, though pit toilets are available). Open season: Early April thru end of November. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
