US Forest Service campground. Apple Campground has seven campsites that are nestled on the bank of the Wild and Scenic North Umpqua River. Enjoy the sounds of water as you watch the confluence of Apple and Panther Creeks. Deep pools and steady riffles offer anglers diverse fishing opportunities with easy access to wade-able areas. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
