About
US Forest Service campground. Mineral Camp is a small campground, with three campsites, situated along Sharps Creek, surrounded by a stand of Douglas fir. Located at the base of the historic Hardscrabble Grade. Mineral Camp was once a stopover place for miners before they started up the long, steep grade to the Bohemia Mining District. Pack out what you pack in. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
