About
US Forest Service campground. Granite campground and picnic site sits on the shore of Fish Creek Reservoir located in the Steamboat Springs Area and it is managed by the Hahns Peak/Bears Ears Ranger District.. There are 8 campsites available consisting of 4 walk-in tent/Day Use sites and 4 drive up sites. A vault toilet and trash services are available. Fishing \ nonmotorized boating is allowed on the reservoir. Hiking, biking and ATV trails are readily available. High clearance vehicles are recommended to access this site. Open season: Late July . Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
