US Forest Service campground. Located in the Cimarron Recreation Area and surrounded by tall cottonwood trees, this scenic campground has 12 campsites. A great variety of birds provide excellent wildlife viewing opportunities. The Cimarron Fishing Ponds are nearby. Open season: Open Year Round . Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
