US Forest Service campground. Ranger Creek Campground is located near the Big Goose Ranger Station, a historic ranger station built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s. Open season: Memorial Day - Labor Day (weather dependent). Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
