About
US Forest Service campground. Nestled along the Pioneer Mountain Scenic Byway of southwest Montana, Price Creek Campground provides many recreational opportunities for any outdoor enthusiast! It is part of the Dillon Ranger District of the Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest, the largest national forest in Montana, and an easy drive to multiple full service communities. Dillon is approximately 46 miles southeast and Butte 65 miles northeast. Wise River is a small rural community 28 miles to the north that has a post office and small convenience store and gas station. Pack out what you pack in. Open season: June through November depending on snow conditions. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
