About

US Forest Service campground. Mountain Glen is a small campground along Bishop Creek on the way to South Lake. This intimate, five-site campground is tucked in the aspens and willows next to the creek and makes for a perfect one night stay in preparation for a backpacking trip or a week long respite from city life. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
