About

US Forest Service campground. The campsites at Rock Creek Lake sit on a low hill overlooking the lake with great views and a few trees. This 28 unit campground is a perfect location for limitless mountain recreation opportunities including fishing, camping, hiking and horseback riding at the nearby pack station. Open season: May. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
