US Forest Service campground. This three sided Adirondack Shelter near Rumney NH is a first come first served facility that is free of charge. The 2.3 mile trail leading to the shelter is a snowmobile trail but skiers, snowshoers and winer hikers are all welcome. Pack out what you pack in. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
