About
US Forest Service campground. Gooseneck Cove is one of four boat-access only campgrounds on Shasta lake. It is located on the upper Sacramento arm of Shasta Lake. Whether or not the access is difficult varies depends on the current lake levels, this is a Pack In, Pack Out campground. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
