About

US Forest Service campground. CLOSED DUE TO FIRE: On the Wild and Scenic Clackamas River. The campground is a compact single loop through cedars, maples, and alders. A couple of berry patches suggest good picking in late summer. Some sites have great views of the river. Popular recreation activities include fishing and whitewater rafting. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
