US Forest Service campground. Campground. This is a favorite for campers. There is trout fishing nearby at Lower Bowns Reservoir and Lower Pleasant Creek. RVs over 25 feet long are not advised. Water will be turned off at threat of first frost. Campground closes 10/15/20 or threat of first frost. Some reservable sites and some first come first serve. Information can be found on Recreation.gov. Open season: May. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
