US Forest Service campground. Mammoth Lakes Basin is located through town, just 5 to 10 minutes drive. The campground is located a short walk from the shore of Lake George. 15 Campsites. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
