About

US Forest Service campground. Sites south of the Olallie Lake, including Peninsula CG, Horseshoe Lake CG, and Skyline Rd, suffered extensive damage in Lionshead Fire and subsequent winter storm blowdown and will NOT reopen this year. Peninsula Campground is the largest campground on Olallie Lake. Olallie lake is a large, high elevation lake bordered in part by the Warm Springs Reservation. As the name suggests, Peninsula Campground is on a large chunk of land that extends out into the lake; an ideal location for fishermen and paddle boaters. Located on Olallie Lake in the Olallie Lake Scenic Area. Peninsula Campground map (PDF)Contact the Clackamas River; Ranger District for; additional information at (971) 333-4100.
