US Forest Service campground. Schumaker Campground sits on the edge of Twin Lakes near the Selway Bitterroot Wilderness. It features one host site, 16 campsites, two vault toilets and two handicap accessible sites. It is located near the Twin Lakes Trailhead. There are no motorized boats allowed on Twin Lakes. The road is narrow, rough, and fairly steep in some places. Please call the Darby Ranger Station for more information about road conditions. Maximum vehicle length 55. Pack out what you pack in. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
