About

US Forest Service campground. This is a large dispersed camping area along the Snake River in Hells Canyon. There are no formal parking or camping units. The camping area is used by both tent campers and RVs. Few amenities exist. There is one outhouse and informational sign near the entrance. Allison Creek Trailhead is across the Hells Canyon Road with access to Allison Creek Trail (#514). Pack out what you pack in. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
