US Forest Service campground. Site is located next to Salamander Creek. There are 3 separate covered picnic shelters each with a picnic table and fire ring. A small sandy beach is located next to the shelter closest to the creek and swimming opportunities exist at higher water levels. Pack out what you pack in. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
