US Forest Service campground. Peninsula tent campground is a 25 unit first come walk-in tent campground. Campground amenities include water, flush toilets and trash service along with paved roads. Campsite amenities include picnic table and fire ring. Local attractions include Pancake Beach, Chimney Rock, Fowler Peak and the Pacific Crest Trail. Campers come prepared for water sport, hiking, nature viewing, mountain biking and equestrian adventures. Others look forward to relaxing in this well-shaded campground. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
