US Forest Service campground. Nestled adjacent to the beautiful Deer Creek on CA HWY 32, Alder Creek is a semi-developed campground with 6 designated sites. Please be aware of special fishing regulations when on Deer Creek. See the California Department Fish and Wildlife website for the most up to date guidelines. Open season: May-September. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
