About
US Forest Service campground. Situated right next to Gallinas Creek among big Ponderosa Pines and mixed conifers, EV Long CG provides a rustic-type camping experience. Uses: tent and RV camping, picnicking, hikingandfishing. Facilities:3 vault toilets, tables, fire rings, grills, andtrash bins. A total of 14 camping units exist (first come, first served basis). No hook-ups, dumpstations, or showers available. Special Instructions: Users are encouraged to recycle and pack out trash. Please visit the Leave No Trace website for more information about frontcountry and backcountry outdoor ethics. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
