About

US Forest Service campground. The campground of dispersed units is set in a mature stand of Ponderosa pine with a mix of white and Douglas fir. Canyon Creek is popular among anglers fishing for rainbow trout. The Arizona Game and Fish Department Canyon Creek Fish Hatchery is nearby. Wildlife includes: Abert squirrel, black bear. Pack it in & Pack it out, no trash services. 14-day stay limit. Trailers must be under 16 feet. Open season: April 1 - November 1. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
