US Forest Service campground. This campground is located on the 20-acre Highbank Lake, which is completely surrounded by National Forest System land. This is a popular campground for anglers and hikers. The beach is very swim friendly, shallow with a sandy bottom. Open season: May 9 - October 13. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
