About

US Forest Service campground. Whitetail Campground is the only free campground on the Little Missouri National Grassland. All camp sites are walk in with a large parking area for trailers. There is one vault toilet. There is no water provided at this site. Pack out what you pack in. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
