About

US Forest Service campground. BATES CANYON (Campground) Nestled in a grove of large oaks and sycamores. There are six campsites located around a loop in the middle of the facility. Each site includes a picnic table and fire ring. Fires are allowed only in designated fire rings. Pets are allowed. There are two vault toilets available. Pack out what you pack in. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
