About
US Forest Service campground. This lake is situated 9.5 miles West of Northport. The lake is now in two segments, the North 7.1 acres are a marshy area, and the South is 6.4 acres with a steep path down from the campground. This campground is quiet and off the beaten path. It's a great place to really get away. Sites are more suited to tent camping than trailers or large RVs. Pack out what you pack in. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
