About

US Forest Service campground. VAN LAKE (Camping Area) Newly improved in 2019! Six developed campsites along the southwest end of Van Lake. Two main campground loops with two vault toilets, three bear resistant storage containers, fire rings, picnic tables, and tent pads. Day use parking and a gravel boat launch for small watercraft are also available. Open season: Year round, weather dependent. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
