US Forest Service campground. Bitterbrush isa popular campground in spring and fall as it is frequently below the snow line or just has minor amounts of snow. 30 campsites. Bearproof food storage containers available in the campground. Open season: mid-April. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
