US Forest Service campground. Tucked into a tall stand of fir trees along Jackson Creek, this Black Canyon Campground has three sites with picnic tables and fire rings. Take a dip with nearby swimming access. Visitors who stay at this campground can explore nearby popular recreation site, the World's Tallest Sugar Pine Tree. There are no services at this campground. Do your part by following the principles of Leave No Trace and pack out all garbage. Not reservable through Recreation.gov, so plan on first-come, first-served; check with the ranger district for current conditions and fees.
