- <p> Occasionally elk may be seen. Be careful driving at night since elk are often on the roads. The upper end of the lake provides ideal habitat.</p> , <p>Pinon Access Trail (foot trail starting next to site 47 and 0.8 miles long) provides access to Quemado Lake and a network of area trails.</p>, <p>Quemado Lake is nearby. Electric motors and non-motorized boats only.</p>, <p>RV hookups are available. Some sites are large enough for self contained RVs up to 30 feet. RV dump station is available at the entrance to the campground (May 1 to September 30). Dump fee is $5.00.</p> , <p>There are 22 developed tent sites each with picnic tables and fire rings/bbq grills. The tent sites are available on a first come, first served basis. The sites have level gravel pads.</p> , <p>There are many biking opportunities in and around the campground.</p>

This is a nice, quiet and clean campground nestled among piñon and juniper trees.
The camp sites are nestled among mature piñon and juniper trees. It is tranquil and undiscovered with a few sites having a view of Quemado Lake. The campground is comprised of a family camping loop (east side) and a group camping loop (west side). The dump station is open and the fee is $5.
