About

Overview

The forested drive to this campground is a beautiful visual of a fire resilient ecosystem with views of the surrounding mountains that tower above. Snowberry Bowl is nicely tucked in the 25 Mile Creek Drainage away from the busy town of Chelan but close to the Lake and recreational activities.

There are seven single tent sites and two small group/RV sites, all of which have fire rings and picnic tables. The group/RV sites can accommodate up to a 25-foot trailer. No hook-ups are available at any of the sites. A group shelter containing four picnic tables may be accessed via barrier-free trails near both group/RV sites. The group shelter is available to all campers on a first come/first serve basis. Potable water and dumpsters for garbage service are provided for users of the campground during the open season. There are three vault toilets on site.

Campers must pay for every night they occupy a campsite in Snowberry Bowl campground.

Recreation

Hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, dirt biking, and playing in the water on Lake Chelan top the list of recreational activities in the area. The Pot Peak, North Fork 25 Mile Creek, and Box Canyon trails are a short drive from the campground and are open to most activities. Lake Chelan is the big draw for the area and provides campers with access to the third deepest lake in the United States. Whether it's fishing, paddle boarding, kayaking, or swimming Lake Chelan is a beautiful place to recreate on the water.

Facilities
