Overview
Sunset Bay Park is located adjacent to Heyburn Dam. This area is popular for primitive camping and day use. Amenities include a boat ramp, courtesy dock, and vault restroom.

Boating, kayaking, fishing, and swimming are all popular activities at Sunset Bay. Popular fish species include crappie, bass, and catfish.

Natural Features
Sunset Bay lies in a picturesque setting of grasslands and gently sloping, sandstone hills covered with oak trees and scattered with hickory, ash, elm and cottonwood. In the spring, flowering wild plum and redbud trees add color to the soft, green landscape. It is a great place to watch the sunset.
