City of Winterset campground with 45 sites: 40 RV sites (15/30/50-amp service, shared water hookups) and 5 tent sites (shared electric). Some sites lack sewer; dump station on-site. Fire rings, picnic tables, shower/restroom building, gravel sites, firewood for sale. A dog park and the historic City Park are nearby. Season April 1-November 15, weather dependent. Reservations open the first Monday of the new year, online or by phone; minimum 2 days advance notice. Coordinates are the town of Winterset rather than the park entrance.
Fees
RV: $25/night. Tent: $15/night (max 2 tents/site). $5 reservation fee. Extended stays (7+ nights): $20. Groups (6+ sites): $22/site.
