About

Tulare County mountain park in a grove of giant sequoias at 6,500 feet, surrounded by Mountain Home State Forest, reached by a long winding road from Springville. 71 first-come, first-served campsites with tables and fire rings; vault toilets; no hookups. Two small fishing ponds and trails to the big trees. Pets allowed for a $5 fee. Open May through October.
