About

San Diego County park on the shore of Lake Morena, a reservoir in the oak-and-chaparral backcountry near Campo, an hour east of San Diego. 86 campsites plus group sites, a number of partial-hookup RV sites, and 10 rustic wilderness cabins. Fishing and boating on the lake (boat rentals available); no swimming. Trails connect to the Pacific Crest Trail. Reservations online through the county parks system.
